Napoleon was offered safe refuge in New Orleans in 1821, but never quite made it. His house was turned into a historical land mark and is now a museum, cafe, restaurant, and bar all in one.

One of our main goals is to experience the New Orleans Jazz scene. We hope to scout out some late night Jazz clubs and catch a show at the House of Blues.

There are many old plantations in New Orleans, and we want to see as many as possible.

That’s right; we want to go through the Bayou swamps on air boat. Hey, maybe we will even see some swamp creature. EEK!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

New Orleans is famous for their multi-Cultural cuisine; including Cajun, Creole, French, and so much more.

We’ll love a night just to ourselves! Indulging in the romantic ambiance, we’ll enjoy tantalizing cuisine at our favorite restaurant and make a toast to our lives together!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!

After our cooking class, we want to have a magnitude of New Orleans style recipes at our hands. The best tool for that would be an authentic cook book that we find while on our visit.

Music is one of the experiences we are looking forward to the most. Helps us buy some local artist's CD's so we can enjoy them when we get home.

New Orleans is a city to walk around, but after a while I am pretty sure we will be hailing cabs and hoping aboard their famous trolley system.

Any help to get to and from our destination is a wonderful gift. We will be thanking you long after take off.
