This thrilling four-wheel-drive journey will take us where breathtaking landscapes and traditional culture are just waiting to be discovered! We will experience the spectacular scenery, lives of rural Costa Ricans that have barely changed over the years, secluded soft silver-sand beaches, exotic flora and fauna and many quaint little villages. Sounds like honeymoon fun!

From the Bijagual Waterfalls we will plummet from cliffs deep within the lush jungle, climbing a small mountain range in the Carara National Park. On our adventure, we will witness breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Ocean and quaint fishing villages along the way, continuing on horseback through a jungle trail leading us to the waterfalls with its natural beauty, such as lush vegetation, toucans and red macaws. We will experience the pleasure of plunging in the pristine pools at the base of the waterfalls!

On our honeymoon we would love to hike through trails of the rainforest to Cahuita, visiting Puerto Vargas along the way. Our journey will come to a brief stop where we will have a romantic picnic lunch by the crystal clear Caribbean waters and maybe take a cool refreshing dip. Continuing on the trail we will see howler monkeys, the green ibis and the mighty rufous kingfisher above in the treetops! So many sights to take in but we will do it all thanks to you!

On our all-day tour we will be setting out to the open sea, having the chance to visit a burial grounds of the Pre-Columbian tribes, snorkel or scuba dive at a world-renowned diving hot spot. We will see many magnificent corals of a thousand colors, brilliantly colored fish and maybe even some friendly and fun-loving dolphins!

This Canopy Tour will be an amazing, unforgettable experience! We'll fly through the tree tops of the Monteverde Could Forest on steel cables. We'll experience the various levels of the canopy as we glide and swing from tree to tree. Watch out Tarzan!

On this Catamaran Cruise sailing on crystal clear water, we'll kick off our shoes, layback, have a cool drink and take in the spectacular scenery.

Our tour begins with a hiking trip through a tropical humid forest, passing bridges and spectacular scenery, to the Fortuna Waterfall with amazing swimming holes. After our honeymoon lunch at "Lava Rocks Restaurant" we will make our way to tour the Arenal Volcano. As we walk up the lava flows and watch the sunset we'll await the darkness to see and hear glowing rocks of lava tumbling down the side of the mountain, then it's time for a relaxing soak in the warmed mineral waters of Tabacon Resort and a romantic honeymoon dinner for two!

With your wedding gift, we will experience the diversity of abundant marine life, magnificent colorful corals and the reef beyond! We will truly know where paradise subsides!

Our experienced captain will take us out into the Pacific Ocean near Cano Island to crystal blue waters teaming with sea life. Here Orcas, pilot, humpback and other whales are sighted almost daily. Together we will have the thrill of meeting our dolphins face-to-face, sharing a soft touch, and viewing their grace and beauty. We'll make sure to take home a photo for a perfect memory of our honeymoon adventure.

On our way to our destination, we will travel through tropical forests near Rincon de la Vieja National Park, the Guanacaste Mountain Range, passing by small villages and cattle ranches. Arriving at the natural hot springs, we will get to try the therapeutic properties of the ever-so-famous mineral mud along with a nice soak in the warm waters marveling at the lush tropical scenery. If we are feeling adventurous we can be swinging through the trees like Tarzan and Jane to experience a world only the bird's eye sees!

After a delicious breakfast, we will start our day with a stroll along the Rio Celeste River arriving at Tenorio Volcano National Park, where we'll hike through a tropical rainforest arriving at "Los Tenideros" of the Rio Celeste, a place where two streams of water come together and form one heavenly color of crystal blue. Hiking back, we will stop and take a mud bath in the healing mud, and take a luxurious soak in the natural hot springs while observing Tenorio Volcano, continuing through the jungle and our final reward, an exquisite lunch for our hunger! A lovely honeymoon tour!

We'll get an early start on this tour heading to the Arenal Dam where a motorboat takes us to Arenal Lake and to El Castillo where our horses will be ready for us! Our horses will lead us across rivers, grasslands and lush forests while we climb hills until we reach the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the nearby Children's Rainforest Reserve! One unforgettable honeymoon memory!

We are excited to go kayaking to Manzanillo arriving on the pristine Manzanillo Beach where we will start our underwater expedition. Swimming over beautiful corals, through caverns where an enchanted underwater garden awaits us with its precious treasures, brain coral, fire coral, turtle grass, parrot fish, angel fish, blue tangs and many more! Thanks to you!

We'll let an experienced guide take us on a hike through Manuel Antonio National Park so we don't get lost! Visiting two pristine, sun-kissed white-sand beaches, Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio learning about local plant life, pointing out some of the subsiding fauna such as capuchin, squirrel monkeys, agouti and the three-toed sloth along with 184 species of birds. A honeymoon adventure we will always remember!

This rafting experience will leave us exhilarated and stunned with its beautiful verdant jungle gorge, palm plantations, and nearby farmlands. We will hopefully stay afloat down the Naranjo River, as we witness the scenes of natural beauty, the tropical flora and fauna and its history. A truly wild ride!

This tour will take us back in history to La Casona where Costa Rica's most significant battle took place. We will visit a colonial style ranch that hosts a natural and historical museum, an endangered but protected tropical dry forest. After our Costa Rican style lunch, we'll enjoy in a calming and romantic horseback ride through the Orosi Volcano exploring creeks, hills and seeing sloth, macaws, toucans, white tail deer, and other local wildlife!

We will have fun challenging the river rapids in our full-day adventure, starting out with a joyride through remote back country of the Rio Savegre to our destination of the Savegre River where we will raft with excitement, enjoy the cool and pure swimming holes, witnessing dense jungle and the magnificent waterfalls where we will enjoy an afternoon snack with lunch shortly following! Choosing from six person rafts or two person inflatable kayaks, we will know whatever we choose will be more than fun, it will be exhilarating!

We will appreciate refreshing ocean waters while learning the ancient skill and art of surfing. Our experienced Instructors are excellent teachers and are committed to perpetuating the heritage of surfing. Surfs up!

With a spectacular view of the ocean, we will join the locals and feast on comida tipica (native dishes), fresh fish, and succulent steaks complemented by gallo pinto, the national dish of fried rice and black beans.

A scooter is a fun and casual way to see the sights of our honeymoon destination. No need to fix our hair for this trip!

We'll need a spa day just to ourselves! We will sit back, relax and indulge in a rejuvenating and revitalizing spa treatment or massage to help soothe our tense muscles and to help us get back in the groove.

What a feeling! An aromatic exfoliate gel is applied to our bodies to refine the skin, and then oils and creams are added to moisturize and soften. Finally our bodies are wrapped to increase the warmth, completely relax us and set the mood for romance.

I will be pampered with a foot facial, foot cleansing, foot scrub, masque and moisturizing massage of lower legs and feet. This is a pure delight for my soles and soul!
