Our Wedding

Our wedding will be held at St. Mary of the Woods, at the Lady of Lourdes Grotto out back. The wedding will start at 5:30 p.m. Indiana time, and the reception will begin following the ceremony. Our colors are watermelon pink and palm beach coral orange! It will be held on June 20th, 2009! It is going to be an outside wedding, so start praying now for beautiful weather. Signs will be placed and parking arrangements will be set up, right beside the ceremony location. We are very excited and have been busy planning for this special day! We are currently working on the Save the Date cards, and you will all be seeing them soon!

Our Reception

Our reception will be held also at St. Mary of the Woods, in the La Fer Hall Ballroom. It will take way immediately following the ceremony. Designated parking will be available, and details about that will follow. There will be signs placed to assist with navigation. There will be music, food, and LOTS of fun!

Travel Arrangements

The nearest airport is the Indianapolis, Indiana airport. It is about a 1 hour drive from Indy to Terre Haute. I will be blocking rooms at a certain hotel shortly, and I will inform you of which hotel that will be, along with the room price and inclusions.

Hotels: I have been asked to find a couple of hotels that have complimentary breakfast and complimentary high speed internet. I have found a couple: The Fairfield Inn by Marriot, and The Hampton Inn. They are both nice hotels and within the same distance from each other and from the wedding location. They are both around the same price, so I am going to call and see if we can get a discounted rate for blocking a few of them. I will post the one on here with the best rate, however if you want an option here are two that I have found.

Here are directions if you are coming from the south end of Terre Haute which is where most of the hotels are located:

U.S. Highway 41 North
Continue on U.S. Highway 41 North about nine miles past the I-70 intersection, to the junction with State Highway 63 North. Take State Highway 63 North and travel approximately two miles to Bolton Road and the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College sign. Turn left and follow the two-lane road through a residential area. Turn left onto U.S. Highway 150 at the stop sign. Drive past the Mari Hulman George School of Equine Studies entrance. Turn right at the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College entrance. The College is on your right. The main gate is the second on the right.
