Our story is simple. We were friends first, best friends second and now will be friends forever! We love to have a good time and we keep each other laughing. We cherish our friends and family over everything else. Right now we have our own small family: the two of us, Jack our dog and Lucky & Jinx the cats. As some of you know one of our favorite past times is having people over to our house to cook out and maybe play a game of shuffleboard or corn-hole. We are looking forward to starting this new chapter in our lives and thank every one for their love and support!

We are getting married in Charleston, South Carolina, October 3, 2008! The adult wedding will be at Dunes West Golf Course starting at 6:00. The ceremony will take place outside under a beautiful old oak tree next to the marsh. The weather for this day is usually sunny and a perfect 78 degrees during the day and 64 at night.
The reception will be following the ceremony at Dunes West. We will have a wonderful time with fun music & great food! The food will be a mix of traditional southern food along with Italian favorites. Get ready to eat and dance to your heart's content.
You will be flying into the Charleston airport, CHS, if you are not driving. If you are not flying directly from Atlanta, you will have a flight with one stop before you arrive in Charleston. The first one is for those that want to spend time with friends or family and make a vacation out of the trip. A beach house or beach condominium rentals are the way to go. They are around the same amount of money per night as a hotel, if you have the right number of people in your house. If you stay at Sullivan’s Island or The Wild Dunes area, you might be too far away from everyone else.
The second option is a hotel on the beach. Reference the Dixon/Kessler wedding when making reservations at the hotels. The Palms Hotel is a hotel right on the beach and also is located on the Isle of Palms. They have ocean views, these rooms are also the largest. If you do not want to spend the money on an ocean view room, the next best thing is a partial view room. Room prices pre night are $117 for a non-view, interior hall room, $135 for a partial view and $153 for an ocean front room. The third option is a hotel about 5 miles from the beach and around an outdoor shopping area. It is the Residence Inn, Marriott. This hotel is an all suite hotel that includes a small kitchen and seating area with a separate room for the bedroom. For the one bedroom studios, the couch pulls out to a double bed. The prices are $119 a night during the week and $159 a night for Friday and Saturday. They also offer two bedrooms that have two separate bedrooms with the kitchen/seating area and pull out couch for $149 a night during the week and $219 a night for Friday and Saturday.
