Our Story

How we met was virtually like Cupid shooting both of us with “Her” bow and arrow! A mutual friend took it upon herself to screen each of us individually with phone calls. She questioned each of us as if we were applying for a dating game or something. She had known each of us for some time now. She was so upset that she didn’t introduce us sooner. Several days later, we finally got a chance to converse with one another. And after two weeks of talking daily, we decided to finally meet. Soon after we both began to have scary thoughts because of the chemistry and our connection to one another. We began speaking of what the other person was thinking. Over a period of time nothing changed and we couldn’t be without one another. WE already identified our similarities, our thought process and of course our chemistry!! We both thought this was too good to be true. That something had to happen to make us realize that this was a dream! It was the Friday before Mother’s Day, and the Beautiful lady had just received a nice romantic arrangement while on her job. She was unexpectantly surprised with receiving them for Mother’s DAY. The plan of action had taken place with planting the first seed for what was to come. It was Saturday, we planned to attend the Morton Meyerson Hall to see Chris Botti play with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra downtown Dallas. We had checked into our hotel prior to attending the evening event. My Bride-to-be was not aware that she was about to be another contestant! She had a sealed envelope awaiting her in our room for a Romantic Treasure Hunt! After a twenty minute hunt, this unexpected surprise resulted in acceptance of a marriage proposal! Mother’s Day Weekend ended Sunday with dinner with her Mom and Daughter announcing the engagement. But it didn’t stop there. It was a couple of weeks later, when the another surprise delivery was made on her job. This time she received two dozen red roses! She was so heavenly surprised that she didn’t realize what the occasion was for. We met each other right after work at the hotel where we had reservations. We had an appointment that evening and needed to change our attire. An hour after our appointment, we preceded back to our hotel room. She was now ready to share her exciting news with her Mom and girlfriends. She was impatient to share her news, so she made a few calls. She went as far as taking pictures of her token she had just received!! Yes, you guessed it!! Her ring! What was suppose to be a secret, didn’t stay a secret! We had planned to only share our news with Mother and Daugh

Our Wedding

Saturday, June 6th, 2009 6:00 pm, Na’Kayshions Wedding Chapel and Event Facility located at 432 Clark Road, Cedar Hill, Texas 75104 Ceremony will begin on time, please be prompt.

Our Reception

Our dinner reception will also be held at Na’Kayshions immediately following the wedding ceremony. Seating will be Banquet style, the same for both events. Pictures will take place during the reception set-up transition. During that time, guest will be allowed to gather outside on the patio for drinks and appetizers.

Travel Arrangements

Our out of town guest can make arrangements with La Quinta Inns & Suites of Cedar Hill, 1419 N. US Hwy 67, Cedar Hill TX 972-291-0008 Rates begin @ $79 a night during the week of June 2nd-8th.
