Skate NightOur family...Having a blast!
The way we met was like a true hollywood story. But, not as scandalous as an E! True Hollywood Story. More like Lana Turner being discovered at Schwab's drug store. Only Jason discovered Nicole, with a little string-pulling from her cousin, while they were both working "on the lot" in Hollywood. He was immediately taken in by her South Florida innocence, and she was swept away by his love for the Boston Red Sox and dreamy eyes. (Nicole MADE me put in about the dreamy eyes.)

Yes, they were "in love." It was a whirl-wind romance for the ages. Like the first sixty pages of a Jackie Collins novel. Jason knew she was "the one" when Nicole went to see Star Wars: The Phantom Menace with him and didn't have one darn bad thing to say about it. (Though for years, it's been wildly rumored that she, in fact, slept through most it.) And, Nicole knew they were meant for each other forever when Jason quoted Kramer from Seinfeld who said, "Marriage is a man-made prison." So, they quickly got engaged, nine years later, and haven't looked back.

The engagement, itself, was well-documented on the straight-to-video, but well-received, DVD: "Engagement: The Movie" (A Gareffa/Nash Production). If you'd like a copy, please send $19.99 plus s/h to our house. Otherwise, you can just ask us for a copy and we'll probably just send you one. I'm sure after just one viewing, you will be even MORE inspired to spring for a bunch of these amazing Australian "Honeymoon Wishes" we've registered for on this site! (Shameless desperation. I know.) Anyway, on the video you can see for yourself how Jason, with help from Nic's Mom and "Lord of the Rings," Nic's Dad, surprises Nicole in Las Vegas and whisks her away for an epic evening of passion and romance. The night's intrigue and emotion carries right up through to the end when we (SPOILER ALERT!) get engaged! However, be prepared for what M. Night Shyamalan calls "the twist ending" where we eventually have to leave our fairy-tale lives behind in Las Vegas in order to return to, well, our fairy-tale lives back in Los Angeles.
