We met October 11, 2003, thanks to our friends Danny and Cindy Mandel. Danny and Cindy and some friends of theirs were going on a Harley ride for the benefit of Olive Crest Children's Home. Cindy asked if I'd like to join them, because a couple of the guys were riding solo. Doug happened to be one ot those guys. So...........our first date was a 130 mile ride with 850 other bikes, escorted by CHP officers all the way, from El Segundo up the coast to Malibu, through the canyon and to a movie studio, where a big party and concert was thrown for the participants. Pretty exciting first date! We've been having fun, no matter what we do, ever since.

We met on a Saturday, and as luck would have it, our wedding is exactly 5 years to the day from when we met! The ceremony and reception will take place on the Ambassador yacht in Newport Harbor, with the after party at the Radisson Newport Beach.

Doug and I leave on Monday, October 13th for Honolulu. We'll spend five nights at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach, then on Saturday, October 18th, we'll set sail aboard NCL's Pride of America for a seven-night tour of the Hawaiian islands, stopping overnight in Maui and Kauai.

Doug and I will be so excited to see you all, and can't wait to experience our wedding day with you.
